It’s been six and a half weeks since I put the first containers of veggies on the deck.  Last night I picked the first grape tomato, though it really needed another day or so to ripen a bit further.  Alan and I split it.  It was quite tasty.

Please don’t tell my mom I eat tomatoes now.  I’m sure she’d faint.

Look at what is growing out on my deck now:

I also have a red bell pepper that is finally blooming, a yellow tomato that finally has more than one potential fruit on it, and some herbs.  I can’t wait to see what happens with it all.  It looks good now, but it’s not over ’til it’s all ripe and in my mouth!

    the plants are looking great lisa! how is the better bush doing? I’m jealous. my plant is doing better, but still not enough sun, i think. oh well. i will just have to be happy with having a few tomatoes instead of a bunch.
