Sandwich rules

Rules for making a sandwich:

-Always check your two slices of bread for size differences.  The larger slice goes on the bottom.

-Cheese always goes on top of meat.  Never put cheese on the bottom.  It squashes out the happy.

-Mustard may go on the lower slice of bread, if desired, but mayo must always go on the top slice.

-Veggies go on top of the meat and cheese, but slippery ones like avocado or sauteed mushrooms may be placed on the bottom to help anchor them in place.  Don’t broadcast your temporary aberration, however.

-Cheese and ketchup should never touch.

-Peanut butter always goes on the lower slice.

-Don’t assume moist fillers will make up for stale bread.  That trick never works.

-A sandwich cut in half diagonally is proof of love, and tastes better than one cut down the middle.

I have to say that I prefer to put peanut butter on both slices of bread and a small, smattering of jelly between.
