A better mousetrap: the cure for WTHTIIR Disorder

Brace yourself.  This coming Sunday morning at 2:00am we are supposed to set the clocks one hour ahead for Daylight Savings time.

This is so we can have more daylight with which to till the soil and farm our crops.

C’mon, now…everyone and their left-eyed dog knows what kind of misery arises from the time change, especially the “springing forward” portion.  We lose an hour of sleep and we’re supposed to be ok with it.

I have a proposition that would lessen the Misery Factor.  It would not completely eliminate it, but I believe it would go a long way towards mitigating the suffering with WTHTIIR Disorder (What The Heck Time Is It Really?).

Are you ready for this?

Make the change at 2:00pm instead of 2:00am.

That’s right…instead of messing up our sleep, let’s just do this during our waking hours.  Once a year we have an extra hour in the afternoon, and once a year we have an hour less.

See?  Easy peasy lemon squeezie.

There should be a law against messing with my zzz…

    I think that is brilliant and should be taken to the President of the Time Change Committee. :D I’m serious!
