Not cool

The air conditioning went out at the store where I work.  Although it wasn’t like we were having a Florida August scorcher, it was incredibly humid because we’ve been having rain.

High humidity+moderately high heat+no air movement+enclosed space+high levels of activity=misery.

As I ran around the stuffy store with sweat running in trickles down my face…my scalp…my neck…my back…I kept reminding myself that a few hours without AC is a first world problem.  And that there are lots of jobs where nobody ever gets AC.  And that sweating is good for detoxing.

This did keep my outward whining to a minimum, although it didn’t completely eliminate it, but my inner whiner was having none of it.

That annoying chick didn’t really shut up until she got a cool rinse shower after dinner.
